About Us

Regarding Directorate of Education Recruitment.

• Recruitment Board was constituted under the Education Department through Government Order No. 1590 dated 30-07-2013 for the recruitment of quality teaching staff and for monitoring the performance of schools.
• With the letter no 11/68/2015-5 Edu6/608408/dated 12-10-2015 in place of Recruitment Board Education Recruitment Directorate was formed.
• Subsequently, the recruitment branch of the office of the Director Education Department Punjab was also merged with the Directorate of Education Recruitment through the order of the Secretary School Education dated 22/06/2018.
• Since the formation of this directorate, the Directorate of Education Recruitment has recruited approximately 70,000 teachers.
